No Ink, No Love

And it's Valen-time?

(Sue me, I didn't feel like writing in full).

The season of love has officially come to bear its full weight and the numerous excited screams throughout the night on my end are more than enough to prove it.

Well, as the lovable person that I undoubtedly am, I thought, "why don't I do something extra weird?"

But "weird" would be a tad inappropriate. Something more meaningful should suffice so, I am going to leave you all with a nice little digital ink stain of mine. Let me know when you get it. Please, enjoy.



In the dark of night

Lying in my birthday suit

You're wrath, a fright.

Laid (me) in my birthday suit.

Guilt piled so high,

Painted on my birthday suit.

I plead, I sigh,

Lying in my birthday suit.

The pain, I deny,

Lying in my birthday suit.

Loving things, making me cry,

Wailing in my birthday suit.


I grew, I groaned,

Lying in my birthday suit.

Was stretched and pulled,

Lying in my birthday suit.

I wailed and moaned,

Lying in my birthday suit.

The years have flown,

Lying in my birthday suit.

The burden has grown,

Weighing on my birthday suit.

The mud is peace,

Painted on my birthday suit.

The pain increased,

Pinned me in my birthday suit.


You came and saw (me)

Lying in my birthday suit.

Asked strangers to help (me)

Still in my birthday suit.

All drenched and bloody

Lying in my birthday suit.

You let no servant touch (me)

Or mar my birthday suit.

Linen, you wore (me)

Old garments but not shorn.

Velvet encasing (me)

Emerald as dressing.


They say I glow,

Can't see my birthday suit.

Eyes like lightning,

But hiding my birthday suit.

Garment billowing,

Protecting my birthday suit.

Robes for ropes,

Protecting my birthday suit.

A coat for smoke,

Protecting my birthday suit.

Covered in Linen, Old Velvet, and Emerald, I am content.
