An Earnest Hope

If you've ever told people about your passion for writing then you've probably had a variation of this line: What is it like? To write, I mean. I have so many ideas but I just can't put them down in a meaningful way! To you, it probably just doesn't make sense, though: writing is easy! In fact, now that you've fallen in love with it, you can't imagine your life without  writing!  If what I wrote matches how you feel then I'm glad to know I'm not alone. It has taken nearly a month of careful soul-searching to realize just how entangled my passion for writing has become with the very essence of 'me.' I look back now and see that what started out as an outlet for some painful emotions and lofty dreams has slowly but surely grown into a core aspect of myself that I don't think I can live without. From Me To You, Love Dia

To the reader,   A text from the desk of a writer,    The beginning of a tale of becoming.     It is my pleasure to welcome you to the very start of A Writer’s Tale. I am, Lady Dia ; a weaver of texts and tales, lost for words at the moment, but I shall make quick work of my- um- monologue.   As I have already hinted, I am a writer (of sorts) and I do congratulate myself for being so diverse. I began my journey from meaningless letters to myself whenever I was angry seven- no eight - years ago, at least as far as I remember. It was the easiest way for me to escape the harshness of the real world. Over time, I realized I was a terrific English student only when I’m required to express myself in an essay. Letters became a close favorite as well though, for the life of me, I can’t seem to get how to close a formal letter without reciting my textbooks.   Two years after becoming more comfortable with my pen, without any of the rage, I stumbled upon the pop...
